About two weeks ago, McKenna woke me up in the middle of the night because she had woken up to a cricket on her bed. When she tried to catch it, it managed to escape her and she could not go back to sleep until it was found. Well ever since that night she had been paranoid about bugs in her bed and room. A few nights ago when I went to go tuck her in, I starting teasing her that if she didn't want bugs hiding in her room, she might want to try cleaning it. Well, before Lloyd and I went to bed that night we went in to check on her and this is what we found . . .
McKenna with long PJ bottoms, a sweatshirt, gloves, socks and . . .
she has tied string and yarn around the bottom of her Pj's so that no bugs could possibly crawl up them.
This is her covering her face and crying because us taking pictures woke her up and she couldn't find the humor of the situation.

she's neurotic like her aunt! ha! love it!
that's hilarious!
I love a girl who is pro-active instead of being a cry baby. She took the matter into her own hands. What a great memory. I bet she had her Dad spray her room the next day. I sure love you guys.-mom
