Gingerbread Fun

It's that time of year where we have our annual gingerbread house night. My sisters and their families come over. This year was so fun. We decorated, ate, then headed off the see Narnia. It was such a fun night. Making all the pieces and then trying to put them together is such a pain, but worth it. I swear I ask myself every year "Why didn't I just buy premade ones?"

Lloyd has just as much fun as the kids!

It would be fun to see all my girls together. I miss that tradition in our home and you will too after the numbness wears off after years and years of baking those houses only to see them stand there looking pretty. I always told myself, I'm not going to be lazy, I'll save the money and make them home made. Now I think, what ever works. It is amazing how many years it's been going on in our family. I remember one year,Dave Bates joined the man team and designed plastic windows and garage doors. It was so funny. The girls still won if I remember right. Merry Christmas family...I love you.
