Quote of the Day

Matt: "Hey mom, I'm thinking of a word that starts with 'P' "
Me: "Ummm, party?"
Matt: "Nope"
Me: after a few more guesses, "Honey, it is going to take me forever to guess. Why don't you just tell me."
Matt: "Mommmm (as in this is super easy) the word is 'Po Po' .... like the Po Po are going to take you to jail!"

Of course it was. Can't believe I didn't get that one. My bad!

Bring it on!

Well we woke up yesterday morning with our first official snow of the season. The kids were dying all day until dad got home so that they could have their traditional snowball fight. Unfortunately, a lot of the snow had melted by the time Lloyd got home, but they didn't let that slow them down at all. And yes... Lloyd is in shorts.

In the middle of the night...

It was 1:30 in the morning when I hear:

"Jessica... Jessica.... did you fall asleep with gum in your mouth?"
"Ummm, I don't think so. Why?"
"Did one of the kids have any?"
"I don't know. Lloyd what it going on?"
"I have gum all over my legs and arms!"

I turned on the lights and sure enough, the poor kid had gum melted all in his leg hair and arm hair. Apparently some gum had gotten on our blanket, from the Halloween stash I am sure. Well as my little Lloyd was snuggled up for the night he shoved the blanket in between his legs like normal, and the gum had slowly but surely transfered from the blanket to his nice warm legs. I was trying so hard not to laugh hysterically as I was pulling out the gum with clumps of leg hair attached. It took ever fiber of my body to not say, "Hold on babe, I just have to grab the camera. These pictures would be great for the blog."

Happy Halloween!

The Spook is on! What a fun night we had last night. The kids were sooooo excited.

McKenna came out of her norm of princess/fairy this year and was a Vampiress. I have to admit she even scared me a little! For the record this is her real hair!

Summom the spirit of the "Tiger". GOOOOO Power Rangers!

AAAAARGH! Once he finally let us get his costume on, he thought he was pretty cool.

How cute is Grandma?!

All of us went to Grandma's and Papa's house for our yearly popcorn balls and goodies.

Could the joy be more evident? It finally hit him that candy was involved and it was all over!
